Cron Configuration

Cron is important for maintaining the site’s assets for search results, checking for updates to Drupal core and modules, and removing temporary files.

Cron should be run regularly. By default it is set to run automatically every 3 hours. You can change this setting, and also run cron manually by going to admin/config/system/cron.

Choose an interval (we recommend at least once a day) and select "Save configuration." A success message will display.
